GTA 6 Characters: Everyone We Know About So Far
Rockstar Games has officially released character bios on their Only in Leonida page, giving us the clearest picture yet of GTA VI's cast. From protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval to the colorful residents of Vice City, here's everyone confirmed so far.
Lucia Caminos — The First Female Protagonist
Lucia serves as one half of Grand Theft Auto VI's protagonist duo — and the first female protagonist in the series' history. Born in Liberty City, her father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk, a skill that's defined her life ever since.
Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. According to Rockstar's official bio, Lucia has learned her lesson — only smart moves from here. More than anything, she wants the good life her mother has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City. Instead of half-baked fantasies, Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands.
"The only thing that matters is who you know and what you got."
Fresh out of prison and ready to change the odds in her favor, Lucia is committed to her plan — no matter what it takes. A life with Jason could be her way out.
Jason Duval — The Ex-Army Partner
Jason is the second half of the protagonist duo, and appears to be both Lucia's romantic and criminal partner. According to his official bio, Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder.
He grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he found himself in the Keys doing what he knows best — working for local drug runners. It might be time to try something new.
"If anything happens, I'm right behind you."
Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him. Jason knows how he'd like it to turn out, but right now, it's hard to tell.
Cal Hampton — The Paranoid Friend
Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian's, Cal feels safest hanging at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open. Rockstar describes him as being at "the low tide of America and happy there." Casual paranoia loves company, but his friend Jason has bigger plans.
"There are way too many birds flying around in perfect formation."
Boobie Ike — Vice City Legend
A local Vice City legend — and he acts like it. Boobie is one of the few to transform his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio. He's all smiles until it's time to talk business.
"The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all."
Boobie might seem like he's just out for himself, but it's his partnership with young aspiring music mogul Dre'Quan Priest for Only Raw Records that he's most invested in.
Dre'Quan Priest — Music Mogul
A young aspiring music mogul working with Boobie Ike at Only Raw Records. Details are still scarce, but he appears to be a rising force in Vice City's music scene.
Real Dimez — Rap Duo & Social Media Sensations
A rap duo and social media personalities making waves in Vice City. Their presence suggests Rockstar is leaning into the influencer culture that defines modern Florida.
Raul Batista — Seasoned Bank Robber
A seasoned bank robber with a relentless streak. Raul brings the heist energy that GTA fans know and love, and will likely play a role in the game's larger criminal operations.
Brian Heder — Landlord & Drug Smuggler
A landlord and veteran drug smuggler. Brian appears to be a key figure in Vice City's underworld, employing both Jason and Cal in his operations.
Stefanie — Corrections Counselor
Lucia's corrections counselor, identified by nameplate in the trailer as Stefanie. Based on fan detective work, she appears to have been a guiding figure during Lucia's time in prison.
What's Next
